Let’s all hope 09 is a better year for everyone! We are very fortunate to live in an area of steady sustained jobs and above the national average for real estate foreclosure, price decreases and home sales in general. I get asked all the time how is the market in the greater Malvern area, and answer steady. Sure days on market are longer and home prices are down from where they were 15 to 18 months ago, homes are still selling. If you price your home correctly( more about that a future blog), and it is more important than ever to have a home looking its best, and I mean best, update everything you can afford to do, new paint, new carpet(or cleaned) stage the home properly, have impeccable curb appeal, you will outshine the competition in your area, and be sure to sell your home.
